In-home Help with Everyday Living
Our Personal Care Services offer individualized assistance with everyday activities that enable people to continue living safely at home. We help with things such as bathing, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, shopping and errands or medication reminders, as well as companionship and respite for caregivers.
Our services are designed to support elderly individuals, people with disabilities, individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury, or people in transition from nursing homes, to live independently in their own homes.
Care is available during daytime, evening and weekend hours and our services are covered by private fees, insurance or Medicaid.
Respite for Caregivers
If you’re the main caregiver for a loved one you may already be handling many daily care tasks for them. If so, you may find that using personal care services occasionally is a good way to take a needed break.
Sometimes, rather than having one of our personal care attendants provide in-home services, people prefer to choose a family member or friend—someone they already know—to provide their care.
If the person receiving care meets all Medicaid eligibility requirements, the state will pay for a person they choose to provide services.
Individuals who choose this option need to be aware that they or a designated loved one would be in charge of directing the care, providing any necessary training, scheduling caregivers, and making sure back-up caregivers are available in the absence of the primary caregiver.
Private Duty Nursing
If an individual needs at-home help with medical care in addition to daily living assistance, we can also arrange for professional in-home nursing services.
